Everyone from Junior Infants to 6th class enjoyed the drumming workshop recently given by Drumadore! A great day of music making was had by all.

Daffodil Day was celebrated in Garbally on March 22nd. Children wore yellow clothes and €140 was raised for the Irish Cancer Society. Here are Ms Hoade’s class in their bright colours. Well done everyone!

On March 15th we celebrated St Patrick’s weekend by dressing up in éadaí glas. This was also the day we enjoyed the Annual Bake Sale in the Senior Room. Everyone enjoyed lots of fun and festivities for Christmas. We had some past pupils from the victorious Menlough football team come to visit with the cups, on the day of the holidays too.

Clothes collection is ongoing in the school. Bags of clothes can be dropped off @ 9am and between 3pm and 4pm Mon – Fri. All donations welcome.

Have a look at some of the spook-tacular artwork our students completed before Hallowe’en. On the day of the holidays we had some very scary characters hanging around our school!!

Well done to all the boys and girls who wore their jerseys last Friday October 13th and donated to GOAL on the day. We raised €115.30 in total. Well done everyone.

We welcomed six wonderful Junior Infants into Garbally N.S. this year. We wish Amy, Ella, Freya, Gabriel, Marcos and Ryan all the very best as they begin this chapter of their educational journey.
