St. Jarlath’s is a rural, mixed primary school located in the shadow of the iconic Garbally Castle in Skehana, Co. Galway.

We aim to provide a warm, welcoming, child-centred environment, based on kindness, equality and respect for everyone.

Our dedicated staff aim to nurture and develop inquisitive minds and a love of learning to help develop socially conscious, critical thinking young citizens of the future.

Our school has an abundance of outdoor space enabling children to enjoy many outdoor activities.

As a school, we recognise fully, the pivotal importance of fostering positive working relationships with parents, guardians and the wider community, in the day to day running of the school.

We hope our pupils will leave our school with many happy memories and a strong sense of community and respect.
